Life @ PC

Living with the Proclamation Family

We gather together each Sunday morning to exalt God so his glory can be seen by all. We pray, sing, soak in the Bible, proclaim its truth and observe its ordinances in hopes that all who gather will see, embrace and enjoy our Lord. At Proclamation, we really want corporate worship to be a corporate experience so come prepared to engage and participate with one another as, together, we exult in the only one worthy of all our praise.

After Corporate Worship, we take a brief break and then split up into large groups for SEE Sessions. These sessions provide us an opportunity to better understand the Bible together as we look to find what its authors intended to communicate, what that indicates about who God is and how we can infuse that into who we are. Our members rotate between participating in adult SEE sessions one week and serving in our children’s SEE sessions the next week (You read that right … everyone who becomes a member at Proclamation supports the development and nourishment of our young people.)

On Sunday evenings the Proclamation Church family joins together for an additional opportunity for brothers and sisters to support one another in knowing and showing our God.
On the first and third Sunday nights of the month, we gather in SEE Groups. These groups consist of several households coming together to help one another in being transformed by the renewal of our minds (Romans 12:1), proclaiming the glories of our God (1 Peter 2:9) and loving one another as followers of Christ (John 13:34 – 35). While every member at Proclamation is part of our larger family, those family bonds will likely run a bit deeper between brothers and sisters who regularly meet together in our SEE Group settings.
On the second and fourth Sunday nights of the month, our larger Proclamation family joins together for a devotional time of worship, prayer and reflection on how our Lord is working in and through our members, church and ministry partners.

    • 1st Week – SEE Groups
    • 2nd Week – Family Worship and Prayer
    • 3rd Week – SEE Groups
    • 4th Week – Family Worship and Meeting

SEE Teams are small groups of men or women (usually 3 – 5 members) who regularly meet together to support and encourage one another in proclaiming the glories of God in all areas of their lives. These teams meet in person every other week while regularly praying for and communicating with one another in between meetings.

SEE Groups are gatherings generally made up of 4 – 8 households who regularly meet together to support and encourage one another in proclaiming the glories of God in all areas of their lives. These groups regularly meet on the first and third Sunday night of each month but there are also other opportunities to participate in SEE Groups for those who cannot attend on Sunday evenings. (While joining and engaging with a SEE Group is expected of all PC members, those who have not yet joined PC are welcomed to attend and participate with a group while getting to know us.)

Throughout the year, members of Proclamation will prepare and lead studies of scripture and classes about topics such as doctrine, theology, church history and living as representatives of God’s greatness. These classes and studies will vary from time to time and be open to different attendees depending on course specifics.
