Why we do what we do

Proclamation Church exists to proclaim the glories of God for the joy of all people.

We do all we do to know and show God by seeing, embracing and enjoying who He is

As we fulfill our purpose by living out our mission, we expect to be a unified family of brothers and sisters fully committed to representing God with all we are in all we do. The aim of our efforts is to be a genuine and authentic community living all of the life we have been given for the ultimate, all-consuming, all-satisfying purpose of knowing and showing our God for the joy of all.

We want to be a people who take every thought captive so that we may honor and obey Jesus Christ as we walk through life making the most of all the time we have been given.

We want to be parents, children, friends, neighbors, colleagues, employees, citizens and stewards of all we have been granted who are rightly known for genuinely loving the Lord our God with all of our heart, all of our mind, all of our strength and all of our soul.

We want to see families planning and directing their days so that they may represent God with all they do and experience the joy that comes from doing so.

We want to see men surrendering their lives to lead others in knowing and showing the Father just as Christ did before them.

We want to see women filling the sails of their brothers and sisters as they follow the Pioneer and Perfecter of our faith.

We want to love one another truly, deeply and steadfastly while also longing to see some of our brothers and sisters depart from us for the sake of expanding and enriching the proclamation of our God’s greatness throughout our community and the world.

We want to be a people characterized by Christ, pushed by his purpose, guided by his word, kept by his Spirit, filled with his joy, focused on his Father and longing for his return.
